About me

I’m Eva, hiking fanatic based in Dublin, with a passion for independent travel, reportage photography and sport. I find solo traveling the most valuable way of exploring the world since I’ve done my first backpacking trip. A crucial step was leaving my second job for a one-way ticket destination – backpacking Asia, which trust me wasn’t the easiest decision in the times of normative social influence. When I came home after months of traveling, I had 50$ in my pocket and had to start from zero almost every aspect of my life. But Asia was an incredible mystical adventure, roadless walking track, after which I grabbed all my memories, landscapes and reportage stories and created this blog, as an inspiration source for others, along with plenty of good and tested travel advice.

I’m highly passionate about mountains, wildlife and interacting with local communities. I easily put myself on the hardest hiking trails and travel ventures outside touristic trails. Every photo and destination on this website is my experience, showing the world in my eyes.
